Develop/maintain policy and billing system.

Recommend approaches for the design of business solutions by collaborating with business stakeholders, Sapiens architects, and system engineers.

Gather, document, and prioritize business requirements for Billing Management systems, for transactions including new business, renewals, cancellations, reinstatements, invoices, payments, refunds, adjustments.

Configure business rules, payment schedules, fee structures, and exceptions in Sapiens Billing Pro Suite to meet multi-state operations and state-specific billing requirements.

Code, configure, and customize action rules, formulas, dependencies and interface settings within the Sapiens Core Suite, including implementing XSLT-based customizations in Sapiens Billing Pro Designer.

Design and modify business rules using XSLT to implement complex billing workflows and state-specific payment requirements.

Monitor and troubleshoot daily batch jobs in Oracle, analyze staged XMLs and other data to ensure accurate processing of billing transactions.

Define SQL queries to retrieve, analyze, and validate data from Oracle databases to confirm correct system behavior and billing calculations.

Use Postman to test policy transactions, execute predefined actions, and validate system configurations to ensure accurate implementation of business requirements.

Collaborate with Sapiens architects and system engineers to ensure all configurations and code meet business requirements and system standards.

Perform thorough unit testing of all configurations and development work.

Conduct system testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with QA teams and business stakeholders to validate functionality.

Document test cases and use them for regression testing to ensure continued system accuracy after updates or enhancements.

Use SQL queries to validate data flows, batch job outputs, and staged XMLs for accuracy.

Test configurations using sample XML/JSON data to ensure proper transformation and business rule implementation.

Assist in enforcing project deadlines and schedules to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.

Collaborate with other team members to maintain project consistency, efficiency, and successful deployment of system enhancements.
Requirements
Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a Systems Analyst-related occupation.
Position requires demonstrable experience with the following:

Demonstrable experience using SQL for writing queries to identify and validate test policies as well as researching system problems. Queries will also be needed to track results of daily processes;

Develop XSLT scripts to manipulate and reformat data for policy and billing processes;
-
Demonstrable experience reading and understanding XML data for both policy and billing data. Be able to make appropriate changes to the XML data for correcting policies/accounts, testing and submitting to system processes;

Demonstrable experience participating in and documenting System Testing processing with QA team for long term regression testing;
-
Demonstrable experience analyzing reported issues to determine root cause;
-
Demonstrable experience providing support to Product, Underwriting, Claims and Finance teams;
-
Demonstrable experience performing on-call support for systems or applications assigned;
-
Demonstrable knowledge of Property Casualty Insurance;
-
Demonstrable experience with vendor tools used for product development.
