Administration and Management:

Install, configure, and manage VMware vSphere environments.

Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and patching of VMware infrastructure.

Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to virtual machines, networking, and storage.

Security and Compliance:

Ensure all VMware environments comply with security policies and standards.

Implement and maintain security configurations and best practices.

Collaborate with security teams to address vulnerabilities and enhance system security.

Documentation and Reporting:

Create and maintain detailed documentation of VMware configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

Generate reports on system performance, usage, and incidents.

Collaboration and Support:

Work closely with other IT teams to support VMware-related projects and initiatives.

Provide Level 2 support for VMware issues, escalating to higher levels when necessary.

Train and mentor junior staff on VMware technologies and best practices.
Requirements
CACI is seeking a skilled and experienced VMware/Broadcom Administrator (Level 2) to join our dynamic team to support a DoD client in Suitland, MD. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth and comprehensive knowledge of VMware products, specifically VMware vSphere solutions, including virtual machines, networking, and storage. This role requires TS/SCI clearance and the ability to work in a secure environment., + Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

5 years of professional experience with VMware Certification.

In-Depth Knowledge:

Comprehensive knowledge of VMware products and VMware vSphere solutions.

Strong understanding of virtual machines, networking, and storage within VMware environments.

Required Certifications:

Security+ VMware Certified Professional (VCP)

$86,600 - $181,800
