Job description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced SAP MM and Logistics architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, supporting, and enhancing the SAP Material Management (MM) and Logistics modules to meet our organizational needs. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to analyze business requirements, design solutions, and ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules., * Lead comprehensive business process analysis and requirements gathering workshops with supply chain, procurement, and logistics stakeholders.

  • Design and architect robust, scalable, and efficient SAP MM and Logistics solutions, developing detailed blueprints and strategic roadmaps from design through delivery.

  • Configure and customize core SAP MM modules, including Purchasing (PR, PO, RFQ), Inventory Management (IM), Invoice Verification (IV), Material Master Data, and Valuation.

  • Configure and integrate key logistics components, including Warehouse Management (WM) / Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and Transportation Management (TM) functionalities.

  • Document configurations, customizations, and best practices for future reference and knowledge transfer.

Requirements

4+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience

  • 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience

  • Knowledge of materials management processes, including inventory management, purchasing, warehouse management, and material requirements planning

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field, or 3+ years of industry work experience

  • 4 + years implementing and configuring the SAP MM and Logistics modules.

  • Strong functional knowledge of SAP MM and its integration with other SAP modules (e.g., FI, SD, PP).

  • Experience in managing inter-company Stock Transport Orders, Stock Transfers, Transfer orders, Physical Inventory, Scrap Management, Material Valuation, Workflow Approvals and Vendor Invoicing and Verification.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of implementing and managing SAP ERP solutions, with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA experience

  • Experience managing large-scale projects from end to end

  • Experience integrating inbound and outbound processes with third-party logistics providers, using EDI framework - 850, 855, 856, 867, 940, 945, 810 for PO, PO change, Advance Shipping Notification, Warehouse shipping, Inventory movements, and Invoice transactions

  • Experience with other SAP solutions like Ariba, IBP (Integrated Business Planning), or Digital Manufacturing and familiarity with Agile methodologies are advantageous.

  • Certification in SAP MM (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate - Materials Management) is preferred but not always mandatory.
