Job description
- Create and maintain domain architecture strategies, blueprints, and roadmaps from current to target state for Global Markets domains.
- Lead and participate in design sessions, provide architecture consulting, and manage design tradeoffs across speed, cost, and strategy.
- Act as a control function to ensure adherence to blueprints, principles, enterprise standards, and applicable regulations.
- Architect and design comprehensive end-to-end solutions and support authoring of high-level designs.
- Identify risks, resolve issues, and influence positive outcomes across conflicting priorities.
- Support vendor selection, including build-versus-buy recommendations.
- Drive prototypes and proofs-of-concept to validate architectural approaches.
- Contribute to and evolve architectural patterns, principles, and guidelines; support architecture governance boards.
- Provide inputs to annual financial planning and manage alignment of change to strategic goals.
- Deliver required EA artifacts on time and support Blueprint/PLD/SD work.
Requirements
We are seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in financial services markets, enterprise architecture, and end-to-end solution design and a proven ability to develop and govern domain strategies, blueprints, and high-level designs that align to business objectives., * BSc in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.
- Finance/Capital Markets domain knowledge covering trading and post-trade processes with understanding of complete trade and contract lifecycles.
- Solution/Technical Architecture background with enterprise application design and distributed services expertise.
- Broad technology experience across hardware, software, middleware, databases, and cloud.
- Certification or extensive experience with architectural methodologies and standards (e.g., UML, BPMN).
- Familiarity with quality and productivity methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma).
- Modern application development and deployment practices (automated testing, CI, CD).
- Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts for varied audiences, including executives.
- Experience managing senior stakeholder expectations and working in matrixed organizations.
Preferred Skills:
- Deep knowledge of financial services within Global Markets domains such as Equities, FICC, Prime Brokerage, Research, Capital Markets, and Operations.
- Experience supporting architecture governance, compliance to local regulations, and strategic technology spend decisions.
