Job description

Finance Reporting Design & Configuration in core S/4HANA

  • Analyse client Finance reporting requirements and map them to standard SAP S/4HANA reporting capabilities, covering FI-GL, CO, AP/AR, and asset accounting.

  • Design and configure Finance reporting structures in S/4HANA, including ledgers, segment reporting, profit center hierarchies, and cost center layouts.

  • Support blueprint and realization phases for Finance reporting workstreams, working with functional leads, system integrators, and client Finance teams.

  • Validate standard S/4HANA report outputs and advise clients on substitution, allocation, and period-end reporting processes.

Analytics & SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

  • Design and build of SAC Finance dashboards connected to S/4HANA live data, budget vs. actuals, cashflow, commitment reporting, and P&L views.
  • Advise clients on SAC Planning integration with S/4HANA Finance: planning models, driver-based planning, and forecast processes.

Client Delivery & Team Contribution

  • Operate as a Finance reporting specialist on KPMG advisory engagements, working within broader S/4HANA program teams alongside programme managers, QA leads, and functional consultants.
  • Contribute to proposal development and pre-sales activities for Finance reporting and analytics workstreams.
  • Help develop KPMG's internal Finance reporting assets, templates, and accelerators for reuse across engagements.

Requirements

Do you have experience in SAP S/4HANA?, Background & Experience

  • 5-10+ years of SAP experience, with core expertise in SAP Finance (FI/CO), including hands-on configuration and reporting experience in both classic SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments.
  • Demonstrable experience in at least 2 full-cycle SAP Finance implementations or migration projects, with active involvement in the reporting design and configuration workstream.
  • Solid understanding of standard S/4HANA Finance reporting: GL reporting, cost centre and profit centre reporting, management accounting views, and period-end close processes.
  • Experience with SAP Funds Management (FM) is a nice to have.
  • First exposure to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or SAC Planning is a strong plus.
  • Background in Big 4, Tier 1 consulting, or a leading SAP system integrator; public sector project exposure is a nice to have.

Skills & Competencies

  • Deep understanding of FI/CO module reporting: GL, AP, AR, AA, CO-PA, CCA/PCA; familiarity with Universal Journal (ACDOCA) and S/4HANA data model changes
  • Ability to advise on SAC Finance dashboards, live data connections, and planning models; understanding of embedded analytics (CDS views, Fiori) as complementary tooling
  • Ability to design a coherent Finance reporting landscape.
  • Clear communicator with Finance and IT audiences.
  • Communication: excellent knowledge of English; good knowledge of Dutch and/or French., * English (Very good knowledge)
