Senior Data Engineer

• Consulting customers on the design and implementation of forward-looking data solutions and development of scalable, tailored data strategies
• Design, development, and operation of highly scalable data integration processes to transfer data from various sources into cloud-based data warehouses
• Seamless integration of innovative technologies - including AI-powered tools - into everyday project work
• Responsibility for the continuous improvement of existing data processes - from enhancing complex queries to implementing automated jobs and modern monitoring solutions - to sustainably increase performance and data quality
• Use of AI-powered tools to optimize data-driven workflows and detect patterns in large data sets

• Completed degree in (business) informatics, economics, (business) mathematics, natural sciences, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience as a Data Engineer or in comparable roles within analytics and business intelligence environments
• Very good SQL skills as well as extensive experience in building and operating modern data pipelines and data integration processes - preferably in cloud-based environments
• Experience with hyperscalers such as Azure (including Fabric), AWS, or Google Cloud as well as innovative tools such as Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, Streamlit, and AI solutions
• Confident use of at least one programming language (e.g. Python, Java) for automating and optimizing data processes
• C1 level German language skills, B2 level English language skills
