SQL Server/Data Analyst and BI Developer If you have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent and at least 3 years working as administrator of MS SQL Server, we are looking for you! We are recruiting for an important IT company based in Tenerife. Our client is looking for a highly proactive database and BI focused developer, with skills in SQL databases, database administration, data migrations and developing of BI solutions. Its a full-time, permanent position and the company is located in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Requirements: - Good written and verbal English communication skills. Spanish and/or German will be a plus. - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent - At least 3 years working as administrator of MS SQL Server - Dynamism to learn and apply new technologies - Experience with SQL server on Azure - Experience with Data Solutions and ETL processes in Azure - Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO) - MS SQL Server Integration Services - MS SQL Server Reporting Services - MS SQL Server Analysis Services - Monitoring and troubleshooting The role will involve the following: - Design, implementation and maintenance of data migration processes - Installation, configuration and management of SQL Server - Work with maintenance plans, Backups, Restore and Disaster Recovery Drills - Analysis and optimization of queries, performance, indexes and execution plans - Monitoring and troubleshooting sql, bi, azure
