Job description
We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Data, Integration & Test Lead to take ownership of all data migration, systems integration and testing activities associated with our HRIS transformation. This is a high-profile leadership role that will ensure employee, organisational and payroll data is migrated accurately, integrations operate seamlessly across the technology landscape, and comprehensive testing provides confidence that the solution is ready for deployment.
Working closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, Operations, Technology teams and external implementation partners, you will establish governance, delivery frameworks and quality standards that protect payroll continuity, minimise operational risk and support a successful transition to Workday.
This is an exciting opportunity for a delivery-focused professional who combines strong programme leadership with deep technical expertise in data, integrations and enterprise systems transformation.
What you'll be doing
- Lead Data Migration Delivery - Define and deliver the end-to-end data migration strategy.
- Own HRIS Integrations - Manage the design, build and deployment of integrations between the HRIS and key business systems.
- Drive Testing Excellence - Develop and execute the programme test strategy.
- Ensure Payroll & Operational Readiness - Validate payroll calculations.
- Deliver Data Engineering & Reporting Capability - Design and support scalable ETL pipelines and data models that integrate HRIS data into Snowflake.
- Provide Programme Leadership & Governance - Lead workstream planning, supplier coordination, risk and issue management, governance reporting.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Workday?, * Proven Transformation Experience - Significant experience leading data migration, systems integration and testing workstreams within large-scale HR, Payroll, ERP or enterprise transformation programmes.
- HRIS Expertise - Hands-on experience delivering HRIS implementations, including data migration, integrations, testing and HR/payroll process transformation.
- Strong Data & Technical Skills - Advanced SQL capabilities and experience working with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms.
- Test & Quality Management Expertise - Demonstrable experience managing system testing.
- Stakeholder & Supplier Management - Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
- Governance & Risk Management Knowledge - Strong understanding of data governance, GDPR, auditability, information security and controls.
Desirable Requirements
- Workday certification in HCM, Integrations, Reporting or Data Conversion.
- PRINCE2, Agile, ISTQB or equivalent project/programme delivery qualifications.
- Experience within healthcare, dental, wellbeing or multi-site organisations.
- Experience working in a private equity-backed business.
- Knowledge of payroll operations and workforce management processes.
