Job description

The Systems Coordinator will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our integrated management systems, ensuring ongoing compliance with relevant ISO standards and regulatory requirements. Working alongside the Operations Coordinator, this role will liaise closely with all departments to promote best practices, support audits, maintain documentation, and drive continual improvement initiatives., Quality Management Systems

Maintain and improve the Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001 requirements. Control and update management system documentation, procedures, policies, and records. Coordinate internal audits and support external certification and customer audits. Monitor corrective and preventive actions and verify their effectiveness. Assist with customer quality questionnaires, supplier assessments, and compliance documentation. Compile and report quality performance metrics and KPIs.

Health & Safety Management

Maintain and improve the Health & Safety Management System in accordance with ISO 45001 requirements. Support compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company policies. Support employee training and awareness programmes.

Environmental Management

Maintain and improve the Environmental Management System in line with ISO 14001 requirements. Monitor environmental objectives, targets, and compliance obligations. Support environmental audits and inspections. Promote sustainability and environmental improvement initiatives.

System Coordination & Continuous Improvement

Coordinate management review meetings and maintain action registers. Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Ensure document control processes are maintained effectively. Support process mapping, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement projects. Liaise with certification bodies, regulatory agencies, customers, and suppliers as required. Assist with the implementation of new systems, procedures, and compliance requirements.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Quality assurance?, Experience coordinating or administering ISO management systems. Understanding of ISO 9001 and either ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001. Experience conducting and coordinating internal audits. Strong document control and record management skills. Excellent organisational and communication abilities.

Desirable

Experience within manufacturing, chemicals, coatings, or industrial environments. Internal Auditor qualification. Knowledge of UK Health & Safety and Environmental legislation. Experience with integrated management systems (IMS). NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent HSE qualification.
