Job description
As Data Analyst - Modelling & Automation for Exemplar Health Care, you'll design and build impactful data products that drive insight and help to ensure the vulnerable people in our care receive the highest quality of care.
You will be instrumental in transforming complex data into scalable, reliable solutions used across the organisation, from automated, SQL-driven, quality alerting to machine learning models and AI powered workflows. You'll contribute to the development of a growing portfolio of data products, continuously enhancing and maintaining them to deliver real-world impact.
- develop and deploy high-impact machine learning models, supported by robust SQL-driven feature engineering
- monitor, refine, and maintain models using MLOps best practices to ensure accuracy, scalability, and long-term performance
- design and implement AI-powered workflows, including prompt optimisation and output validation for reliable insights
- build and enhance scalable data products (e.g. KPI dashboards, alerts, and models) to proactively identify risks and opportunities
- collaborate with stakeholders to integrate data solutions into production systems, while maintaining clear documentation and continuous improvement

a strong foundation in statistics, mathematics, or data science, with the ability to apply these concepts to real-world problems

the ability to use SQL and Python confidently to explore, manipulate, and analyse data from a variety of sources

understanding of core machine learning concepts and can apply common techniques

curiosity about AI technologies (e.g. large language models) and an interest in how they can be applied in practical settings

critical thinking about data quality, assumptions, and limitations when producing analysis or models

ability to learn quickly and proactively develop new technical skills, particularly in emerging data science and AI tools.
We're looking for a candidate with a degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant field such as data science, statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related discipline. You'll need experience of progressing models from exploration to implementation, with exposure to deployment or operational use.
