Job description
As an IT Project Manager in our UK Enterprise services function you will manage the delivery of tasks and standard projects to deliver the defined business and customer benefits in the FinOps discipline.
Day to day, you'll manage risk and dependencies alongside being responsible for delivering technology projects that support defence capabilities while ensuring compliance with security, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
Your responsibilities will include:
Project planning and delivery - Developing and maintaining project plans and schedules
Stakeholder management - Working with Defence Digital, MOD Representatives, Military personnel, Suppliers and Internal delivery teams
Risk and Dependency management - Escalating critical risks and blockers
Team coordination - Liasing with Infrastructure engineers, Cyber Security specialists, Software developers and Architects
Requirements
Experience in IT with a background in both Software and Hardware
Good working knowledge of Project Management principles in accordance with industry standards
Resource management and financial management
Delivery of projects to timelines and deadlines, Industry recognised qualification such as Prince2, AMP, PMP

This role is 37 hours per week based at any one of our QinetiQ sites with a minimum average site attendance of three days per week.

These facilities enable QinetiQ to conduct a wide range of research, testing and development activities that support both military and civilian applications helping to advance technology and support national security.
