IT Engineer (Hybrid - Onsite / Helpdesk / Cyber Security)

We're looking for a flexible, personable IT Engineer to join our growing team at HB Technology.

This isn't a typical helpdesk role - you'll be working across:

• Client sites
• Remote support / helpdesk
• Cyber Essentials and security-focused tasks

If you enjoy variety, being out with clients, and delivering great service, this role is for you.

What You'll Be Doing

• Providing onsite IT support across client environments
• Supporting Cyber Essentials readiness - patching, MFA, access controls, security improvements
• Handling helpdesk tickets (1st / 2nd line) and remote troubleshooting
• Installing and configuring IT equipment
• Supporting projects and client rollouts
• Ensuring excellent communication and a right-first-time approach

Do you have a valid Driving License license?, Do you have experience in Information security?, * 2+ years in an IT support / MSP role

• Strong Microsoft 365 knowledge
• Experience of onsite / field-based support
• Excellent customer-facing and communication skills
• A proactive, organised, "can-do" attitude
• Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

• Experience with Cyber Essentials / IT security
• Azure / networking knowledge
