Job description
The Digital Executive will support the Marketing & Communications function in delivering high-quality digital content, campaign activity, and reporting outputs. The role plays a key part in ensuring consistent messaging across platforms, improving digital engagement, and supporting data-driven communications activity.
You will work closely with communications, policy, and programme teams to deliver impactful digital outputs that support organisational priorities and public engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, edit, and publish digital content across web and social platforms
- Support delivery of communications campaigns aligned to organisational objectives
- Assist with website updates, digital asset management, and content optimisation
- Produce analytics reports on digital performance and engagement metrics
- Support internal and external stakeholder communications
- Ensure all content aligns with brand, tone, and accessibility standards
- Work with teams to translate complex information into clear, engaging content
- Support event communications and digital promotion activities
- Assist with continuous improvement of digital tools and processes
- Maintain accurate records of communications activity and performance data
Requirements
Do you have experience in Spark?, * Experience in digital communications, marketing, or content production
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft 365 and digital content systems
- Ability to analyse and interpret digital performance data
- Excellent written communication and attention to detail
- Understanding of social media platforms and web content management
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid, multi-stakeholder environment
Desirable Experience
- Experience working in public sector, local government, or regional programmes
- Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics or equivalent)
- Experience supporting communications campaigns or digital transformation projects
- Knowledge of accessibility and inclusive communications standards, * digital communications, marketing, or content production: 2 years (required)
