Job description
The Data Centre Technician - Logistics Support role focuses on handling inventory, equipment deliveries, and warehouse activities within a data centre. The role involves receiving and tracking equipment, maintaining accurate records, and supporting stock audits while following strict safety and process guidelines. This is a hands-on position suited for candidates with warehouse, inventory, or logistics experience who are comfortable with physical work and structured environments., * Receive and ship data centre equipment (PO receiving, deliveries, returns)
- Perform data entry for inbound/outbound inventory
- Track physical inventory and maintain accurate records
- Stage equipment correctly for deployment or movement
- Support rack movements and logistics activities as directed
- Perform cycle counts and inventory audits
- Escalate issues during high-volume or exception scenarios
- Follow safety, PPE and site procedures always
Requirements

High School Diploma

Minimum 6 months experience in: Warehouse operations; Inventory management; Retail stock handling; Logistics or supply chain support

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office: Outlook; Excel; Word

Comfortable performing physical work (standing, lifting, moving equipment)

Ability to follow instructions and escalate issues when unsure
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in a warehouse, logistics, or inventory environment
- Previous exposure to a data centre or technical operations setting
- Familiarity with inventory tracking systems or stock management tools
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines
- Experience working in fast-paced or high-volume environments
- Basic understanding of equipment handling and storage practices
- Comfortable working as part of a team under supervision
