Job description

Fire Systems Ltd is an established and growing fire protection company based in Kingston upon Thames, delivering high-quality service and support to clients across London and the South East. We pride ourselves on professionalism, teamwork and investing in our people.

This role would suit an adaptable, reliable and enthusiastic individual with strong administrative experience who is looking to join a forward-thinking business in a varied and interesting position.

The role will involve:

  • Scheduling and arranging engineers' jobs
  • Processing engineers' job calls and producing client reports
  • Inputting data into our main database system
  • Providing help desk support by the phone to our customers and engineers
  • Purchasing materials and raising engineers' purchase orders
  • Other general office duties

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driving License license?, Do you have experience in Van driver?, * Excellent communication skills and ability to work on own initiative

  • Diary management and database experience
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent phone manner
  • Ability to multi-task and manage your time and workload efficiently, working to deadlines
  • Confidence and the ability to build rapport with peers internally and externally
  • Strong IT skills; Outlook, Word, Excel etc, plus excellent typing skills
  • The ability to work independently and in a team
  • Previous experience in scheduling engineers or field-based teams (preferred)
  • Knowledge of fire alarm systems or electrical industry experience (desirable but not essential)

Following successful completion of probation, you will continue with an individual training and development plan with opportunities for long-term career progression within Fire Systems Ltd.

In this role, success means ensuring engineer schedules are effectively coordinated, maintaining clear communication with customers and engineers, and supporting the smooth delivery of works and call-outs each day.

Ideally you should live within a 10 mile radius of Kingston upon Thames.
