Job description
- Participation in the development/testing and enhancement of specific product designs and the creation of process FMEAs (failure mode and effects analysis).
- Performing visual and physical inspections of development samples, production samples and stock.
- Creation of product inspection reports.
- Providing our factories with approvals or rejections based on the evaluation of inspection results.
- The control of and use of measuring equipment on site.
- Technical support and 'know-how' to other departments and customers.
- Inspection and diagnosis of failure samples assisting the Warranty department
Requirements

Technical knowledge of automotive parts and their function components:
-
Confidence to communicate and deal with people at all levels
-
IT knowledge including Microsoft, Word, and Excel

Technical Report writing
-
Ability to use inspection measuring equipment

Qualification within engineering or motor vehicles Desirable:
-
Experience of working within a quality control environment

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

This role would suit a Vehicle technician or an Automotive Engineer
