Job description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Information Technology Manager - Casino Operations based in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Supporting a world-class integrated resort, the IT Manager will support the installation of IT equipment and 450+ and 25 table games. This role will lead all gaming technology strategies, infrastructure, and operations, while ensuring seamless integration with the broader resort IT environment.

The role is responsible for delivering secure, scalable, and high-performing systems across the casino, including gaming platforms, cybersecurity, data management, and guest-facing technologies. This leader will collaborate closely with the resort IT team to ensure a unified and frictionless guest experience., * Oversee all casino IT operations, systems, and infrastructure.

  • Lead deployment, integration, and optimization of casino systems, including slot and player tracking technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with all Dominican laws and gaming regulations and IT security standards.
  • Manage IT budgets, vendors, and technology roadmap.
  • Implement cybersecurity and risk management strategies.
  • Support data and analytics initiatives to enhance performance and guest engagement.
  • Recruit, onboard, build, develop and lead an IT/Tech.
  • Partner with casino leadership to align technology with business goals. Ensure system uptime, disaster recovery, and business continuity readiness.

Requirements

Do you have a valid Gaming license license?, Do you have experience in Writing skills?, We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced and proactive IT Manager Officer to join our team at the Palace Company's all-new, 5-Star Moon Palace - Punta Cana Resort Casino. This $1.6b dynamic luxury destination is now open, with the casino opening in December, 2026.

This critical-hire position includes positive growth opportunities, plus 2 generous annual bonuses, healthcare, retirement funding and a free housing (sharing) option. In addition, the IT Manager will enjoy the first 4 weeks of employment with complimentary hotel reservations and your airfare from your home city to Punta Cana.

Candidates will work independently with the casino leadership team and shall be fully responsible for overseeing all gaming-related activities, delivering on the owners commitment to transparency, integrity and compliance with all Dominican laws, decrees and resolutions governing casinos.

Experience in 5-Star hospitality and working in the Caribbean are preferred

The ideal candidate will join the SVP/GM in Punta Cana as soon as August, but preferably no later than the beginning of July. The first priority includes establishing a complete set of Internal Controls, SOPs and Policies and Procedures., Fluent in Spanish, with excellent writing skills, some familiarity with working alongside Casino Regulators, working in high-action, high-stress situations where diplomacy is a must are some of the expectations we set ., * 5+ years of progressive IT experience.

  • Direct experience with Konami (Synkros) is a requirement.
  • Proven success managing IT operations in complex, guest-facing environments.
  • Strong knowledge of casino technologies, including slots, player tracking, and table systems.
  • Experience with hotel technologies (PMS, POS, networks, guest platforms).
  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity, data protection, and regulatory compliance (e.g., PCI, gaming)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, pre-opening and operational environment
  • Proven experience in casino compliance.
  • Relevant certifications or equivalent are preferred., * As a member of the leadership team the IT Manager will appreciate the ability to work independantly, although clear expectations and timelines will be set.
