Job description

We are seeking an experienced IT Field Service Support Technician with strong Windows 11 migration experience to provide onsite technical support to end users across multiple locations in and around Syracuse, NY. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, Office 365, Azure, Intune, and Active Directory in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide deskside and field support for desktops, laptops, tablets, smartphones, printers, telephony devices, AV equipment, and related peripherals.
  • Perform Windows 11 deployments, migrations, imaging, reimaging, software installations, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues while meeting established SLAs.
  • Support Office 365, Teams, Azure AD, Intune, and Active Directory user administration.
  • Manage and update incidents through ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems.
  • Travel to client sites and remote offices as required to provide onsite support.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of technical issues, resolutions, and asset inventory.
  • Provide end-user training and guidance on hardware and software usage.
  • Support video conferencing equipment and meeting room technologies.
  • Participate in on-call, weekend, and holiday support when required.
  • Assist with infrastructure administration and project-based deployments.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Windows?, * Hands-on experience with Windows 11 migration projects.

  • Strong desktop support experience in an enterprise environment.
  • Experience with Office 365, Microsoft Teams, Azure AD, Intune, and Active Directory.
  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems.
  • Knowledge of LAN connectivity and basic networking concepts.
  • Experience supporting printers, mobile devices, and AV/video conferencing equipment.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Additional Requirements

  • Must have a reliable vehicle and be willing to travel to various client locations.
  • Mileage reimbursement provided.
