Job description
- 2nd Shift hours Mon-Fri from 1:00pm to 10:00pm
- Investigate, analyze and resolve complex support requests with customers via phone and email using trouble ticket and remote access software.
- Configure new / repair existing PC's and Linux devices
- Receive hardware inventory, log serial numbers, test equipment, kit, and palletize shipments for delivery to install locations
- Responsible for performing a wide array of remote problem determination and resolution processes of hardware and software
- Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all systems
- Support activities associated with installation, deployment, and upgrade of software, hardware
- Serve as Tier 1/Tier 2 troubleshooter and escalation point for our client installations and deployments
- Deploy and configure solutions as designed by a Solution Architect
- Test new equipment/solutions/content and report issues to engineering
- Complete client content change requests
- On rotation, receive after-hours support phone calls & emails and resolve issues
Requirements
Do you have experience in Teamwork?, Do you have a Associate's degree?, * Strong client communication/interaction skills
- Superior attention to detail is paramount
- Troubleshooting abilities consisting of Windows and Linux operating systems, network configuration and computer hardware
- Basic network knowledge and connectivity troubleshooting experience (TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS)
- Very strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Customer satisfaction-focused attitude
- Ability to remain current with changing technology as it relates to Customer Support
- 1-3 years of related experience in remote support, computer hardware and software
- Knowledge of computer software application installation, maintenance, and use
- Associate's degree in Computer Science and/or related field preferred - Bachelor's degree is a plus
- Experience in digital signage industry is a big plus
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
