The IT Specialist supports ASC's growing operations by providing Tier 1-3 support, managing devices, and helping maintain critical systems across multiple facilities. This is a high-impact, on-site role where you'll work directly with teams, troubleshoot issues in real time, and help keep the business running smoothly., End User Support (Tier 1-3)
- Provide Tier 1-3 support for:
- Windows 10/11 desktops and laptops
- Tablets (iPad, Android, Windows)
- Chromebooks / ChromeOS
- Mobile devices (iOS and Android)
- Troubleshoot hardware, operating system, and application issues
- Support printers, scanners, VPNs, Wi-Fi, and peripherals
- Perform user onboarding and offboarding (accounts, permissions, devices)
- Deploy, image, configure, upgrade, and replace end-user systems
- Support engineering, administrative, and shop-floor users
Mobile Devices & MDM
- Enroll and manage devices using MDM (Intune or equivalent)
- Support mobile email, MFA, and application access
- Manage device policies, security settings, and compliance
- Troubleshoot lost, replaced, or non-compliant devices
- Assist with mobile device lifecycle documentation
Systems & IT Operations
- Assist with administration of Windows Server environment:
Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy
- Manage file access permissions and security groups
- Assist with virtualized environments (Hyper-V / VMware)
- Monitor system health and backups; assist with restores when required
Microsoft 365 / Azure AD
- Support Azure AD (Entra ID) and hybrid identity environments
- Assist with Microsoft 365 administration:
- Exchange Online
- SharePoint
- OneDrive
- Teams
- Support MFA and Conditional Access policies
- Assist with license assignment and user management
Security, Patching & Compliance
- Support management of ESET Endpoint Security
- Perform Windows, mobile, tablet, Chromebook, and third-party patching
- Monitor endpoint health and alerts and escalate as needed
- Assist with cybersecurity documentation and policy enforcement
- NIST 800-171 / CMMC familiarity is a plus
Operational & Physical Requirements
- Travel between all ASC buildings as needed (2-3-mile radius)
- Comfortable working in manufacturing and shop environments
- Assist with hardware installs, basic cabling, and equipment moves
- Lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work outside a traditional office environment
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driver's License license?, Do you have experience in iOS?, * 3-5 years of hands-on IT experience (Tier 3)
- Experience supporting Windows, tablets, Chromebooks, and mobile devices
- Active Directory and Windows Server experience
- Microsoft 365 and Azure AD experience
- MDM exposure (Intune or equivalent)
- Endpoint security and patching experience (ESET preferred)
- Ability to handle Tier 1-3 issues independently
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally
