Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our laboratory operations team. Reporting to the Lab Operations Manager, this role is responsible for analyzing microbial identification data, interpreting laboratory results, performing quality reviews, generating customer reports, and supporting customer communications., * Analyze DNA sequencing and MALDI-TOF data to identify microorganisms and generate accurate customer reports

  • Perform quality review of samples, analytical data, and reports to ensure timely and reliable results
  • Support laboratory operations by maintaining data records, image databases, and analytical software systems
  • Ensure compliance with cGMP, ISO 17025, quality system procedures, and laboratory safety requirements
  • Communicate results and technical information to customers while providing exceptional customer support
  • Assist with method validations, process improvements, new service implementations, and other laboratory initiatives
  • Represent Biolog at customer-facing events and collaborate across teams to support business objectives

Requirements

Do you have experience in Verification of laboratory test methods?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, The ideal candidate combines strong scientific knowledge with exceptional attention to detail and enjoys working in a fast-paced laboratory environment where accuracy and customer satisfaction are critical., * Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, or a related field

  • 3+ years of laboratory experience in microbiology, molecular biology, or related disciplines
  • Experience analyzing DNA sequencing data and interpreting laboratory results
  • Familiarity with regulated laboratory environments and quality systems
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical thinking
  • Effective communication skills and a customer-focused approach

Preferred: Experience with MALDI-TOF, microbial identification, ISO 17025, cGMP, and customer-facing scientific support.

Hourly: $26.00-$29.00/hour
