Job description
- Install, configure, and administer IBM WebSphere and JBoss application servers.
- Support migration of Java applications between data centers and environments.
- Manage application deployments, JVM settings, clusters, nodes, profiles, and data sources.
- Troubleshoot application server, deployment, and performance issues.
- Perform JVM tuning, monitoring, and capacity planning.
- Conduct health checks, smoke testing, and post-migration validation.
- Work closely with application, infrastructure, database, and security teams.
- Support production cutovers and migration activities as needed.
Requirements
- 10+ years of Middleware Administration experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server.
- Strong experience with JBoss Application Server.
- Good understanding of Java applications and JVM tuning.
- Experience with application migrations and middleware configuration management.
- Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
- Experience working in enterprise production environments.
