Job description

  • Provide technical support to end-users across various departments, resolving hardware, software, and network issues promptly and effectively.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software problems related to operating systems such as Windows and macOS, including applications like Microsoft Office.
  • Manage computer hardware including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals to ensure optimal performance.
  • Configure and maintain computer networks, including LAN (Local Area Network), WAN (Wide Area Network), VPN (Virtual Private Network), DNS (Domain Name System), and firewall settings for security and connectivity.
  • Support the deployment and management of IT infrastructure tools such as SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager), GPO (Group Policy Objects), Active Directory, and Linux servers.
  • Assist with server administration tasks involving Windows Server environments and Microsoft Windows Server management tools.
  • Monitor network performance using tools like Meraki and troubleshoot TCP/IP issues to ensure reliable connectivity across all systems.
  • Maintain documentation of technical procedures, incident reports, and asset inventories using platforms such as ServiceNow, Jira, or BMC Remedy.
  • Conduct regular system updates, patch management, and hardware upgrades to keep systems secure and efficient.
  • Collaborate with team members on network administration tasks including TCP/IP configuration, DNS management, and firewall rule adjustments.

  • Strong knowledge of operating systems including Windows (Windows 10/11), macOS, Linux distributions, and Windows Server environments.
  • Hands-on experience with computer networking concepts such as LAN/WAN setup, TCP/IP protocols, VPNs, DNS management, firewalls (including Meraki), and network troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals.
  • Proficiency in managing software deployment tools like SCCM or equivalent systems for software distribution and updates.
  • Experience working with Active Directory for user account management and GPO for policy enforcement.
  • Ability to analyze technical issues quickly using strong analysis skills to identify root causes effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain technical solutions clearly to non-technical users.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), or Cisco CCNA are preferred but not mandatory.
