What will you be doing?
- Design network solutions: Configure and deploy complex network solutions based on business requirements
- Create network plans: Collaborate with architects and other stakeholders to develop network architecture plans, including LAN, WAN, and data center networks
- Support network upgrades: Implement network changes and upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to services
- Collaborate internally: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the stability, scalability, and security of the organization's network infrastructure
- Provide technical solutions: Think strategically and tactically to provide highly effective technical solutions that solve business problems, tools that function according to network needs
- Process improvement: Continually look for ways to automate manual tasks and produce solutions to common issues to improve overall Network Service
- Lead projects: Begin to develop strong leadership skills on various projects and initiatives of any complexity, size, and scope, which includes assisting with project-related decisions and tasks as well as delegation and documentation of project work
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; Relevant certifications such as CCIE, CCNP, or equivalent preferred
- 3-5 years' experience in network engineering, with a focus on network design, implementation, troubleshooting, and support required
- In-depth knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, VLANs, MPLS, VPNs and SDWAN required
- Strong understanding of network security principles and experience with security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and network access controls required
- Proficiency in network monitoring and management tools (e.g., SNMP, NetFlow, Wireshark, SolarWinds) required
- Experience with network hardware and software from leading vendors such as Cisco, Aruba, Silver Peak, Palo Alto etc. required
