Requirements
Do you have experience in Office experience?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, We are seeking a qualified 508 Document Remediation Specialist within our Knowledge Management Team. This person is well-versed in WCAG 2.1 AA document compliance, Adobe InDesign and MS Office suite. Candidate will remediate documents intended for website posting. Analyze, test and perform Section 508 compliance audits. Collaborate with project managers, internal stakeholders, team members and management to achieve DOJ ADA compliance directive for documents. Maintain knowledge of emerging interpretations and trends and apply them., Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
Experience: Six years of administrative staff or professional work.

Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer involving staff work related to the administration of rules, regulations, policy, procedures and processes, or overseeing or coordinating unit operations or functioning as a staff assistant to a, higher ranking commissioned officer on a year-for-year basis for the required experience., ** For education obtained outside of the U.S., you will be required to provide proof of the equivalent American education as determined by a foreign credential evaluation service, If you possess a degree obtained outside of the United States, please submit a detailed, course-by-course evaluation report from one of the U.S. equivalence evaluating members identified at http://www.naces.org/members.html., * Expert in remediation of PDFs with Adobe with at least five years of experience as a 508 Document Remediation Specialist.
