Job description
Index Analytics is seeking a Salesforce Developer (Mid) to support Government clients in the Baltimore and Washington D.C. Metro Area. The incumbent will design and develop Solutions in Salesforce, work with Business Analysts, Architects, and other members in the team to help drive innovation using the Salesforce platform. This position requires an in-person interview at our HQ.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to all technical aspects of the project, including designing, developing, testing, and deploying Salesforce applications throughout the full development lifecycle.
- Quickly learn and apply new Salesforce features, tools, and technologies, while effectively communicating with business owners, technical teams, development partners, and user groups to support solution delivery.
- Ensure development projects meet business and end-user requirements by identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving system issues to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions.
- Support proof-of-concept efforts and technical solutioning, helping establish the technical vision and partnering with developers to bring that vision to life.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders and team members to enable timely project delivery, supported by strong verbal and written communication skills and effective documentation.
Requirements
Do you have a valid Certified Salesforce Administrator certification?, Do you have experience in Salesforce Cloud?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * US citizen or Authorized to Work and lived in the US for 3 of the last 5 years. Must be able to obtain a U.S. Federal government client badge and pass a government Public Trust.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field with four (4) or more years of experience with customization on the Salesforce Lightning platform. including Lightning components using the Lightning Design System, Lightning Web Components or Lightning Aura Components and Apex (Batch, Controllers, Triggers).
- Two (2) or more years of experience with declarative development on Salesforce using Workflows, Approval Processes, Process Builder, Flows, etc.
- Proven experience with implementing Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud. Solutions include Live Chat, Knowledge, Case Lifecycle Management, Assignment Rules, Reports and Dashboards, etc.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud design and development and working with third-party tools and market-place solutions from the AppExchange.
- Strong understanding of authentication and security protocols, including configuration of SAML and OAuth flows, and use of Salesforce application/platform security tools such as Snyk, AppOmni, or comparable solutions.
- Extensive experience integrating Salesforce with external systems, leveraging both point-to-point integrations and middleware platforms
- Knowledge of GIT and CI/CD tools such as Copado is preferred.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
