The Network Engineer 2 assumes ownership of assigned network systems, using discretion and independent judgment to diagnose and resolve complex connectivity issues, perform hardware and software upgrades, and ensure system reliability, security, and performance. Working closely with users, fellow IT professionals, and cross-departmental stakeholders, this role helps design, analyze, install, configure, administer, and optimize network systems across LAN/WLAN environments. The position requires hands-on expertise with Cisco and Meraki platforms and their components to ensure high availability and optimal performance for critical business applications., * Troubleshoot and diagnose network issues, ensuring timely resolution and system stability
- Assist in designing, specifying, and implementing network solutions, focusing on Cisco/Meraki platforms and related systems
- Configure, deploy, and maintain Cisco and Meraki switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points
- Respond to and resolve network repair tickets from the help desk in a timely manner.
- Administer and optimize network systems to support high availability and performance for business applications
- Perform hardware and software upgrades to maintain optimal performance and security
- Collaborate with team members and various departments to support network infrastructure projects and objectives
- Maintain detailed system documentation, inventories, and records
- Execute ad hoc assignments and participate in system roll-out initiatives
Requirements
Do you have experience in Wireless network deployment projects?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Proficiency in Cisco/Meraki systems and related technologies
- Ability to configure and troubleshoot LAN environments (switching, VLANs, subnetting, and routing protocols).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, fostering respectful collaboration
- Commitment to system ownership, ensuring reliability and ongoing optimization
- Excellent organization skills with the ability to prioritize
- Advanced computer skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Ability to manage, complete and document project tasks
- Ability to effectively complete assignments under time restraints
Experience: 2 minimum years related experience
Education: 4 Year/Bachelors Degree and/or equivalent experience/training
Licenses and Certifications: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) preferred

Hiring pay range: $122,574.00 - 122,574.00, * Requires additional physical requirements to install and mount of routers, switches, and servers into server cabinets and rack and shipments of equipment that can weigh approximately 40lbs
