Job description

The Senior Software Developer serves as a key technical leader responsible for end-to-end design, development, and administration of Salesforce Low Code platform solutions in a federal environment. This individual works closely with architects, product owners, and federal project managers to deliver scalable, secure, and compliant systems aligned with agency mission requirements., * Lead design, development, and administration of Salesforce Low Code platform projects from inception through delivery.

  • Identify and leverage Out-of-the-Box (OOTB) marketplace plugins to minimize custom code development.
  • Collaborate with Product Owner, IT Federal Project Manager, Business Analysts, and SMEs to define functional and technical requirements.
  • Actively contribute to major architectural design decisions and craft scalable, enterprise-grade solutions.
  • Design data/object and process models that support evolving enterprise and future-state needs.
  • Design, implement, and integrate Low Code platforms with on-premise and cloud-based federal systems.
  • Ensure all solutions comply with federal standards including FISMA, NIST guidelines, Section 508, and FedRAMP.
  • Develop and maintain integration solutions between Salesforce, Informix, and Snowflake for reporting, analytics, and operational data flows.
  • Utilize middleware and ETL tools to facilitate data synchronization while preserving data integrity and security.
  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation including architectural diagrams, user manuals, and compliance reports.
  • Conduct unit testing and support system integration testing to validate features against government quality standards.
  • Provide technical support to end-users and participate in help desk rotation as needed.
  • Facilitate training sessions for government staff on new technologies and system updates.
  • Define and direct technical specifications and delivery timelines for team members.
  • Ensure conformance to DOL development standards, manage technical debt, and oversee security and testing compliance.
  • Present technical concepts clearly and concisely to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Engage government stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with regulatory standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Software engineering?, * Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on full stack development experience, including at least 3 years on Salesforce Low Code platforms and AWS.
  • Combination of Architect, Consultant, Administrator, and Developer experience on low code platforms.
  • AWS certifications or demonstrated equivalent experience.
  • Agile/Scrum certifications or demonstrated equivalent experience.
  • Experience developing and delivering solutions in the federal space strongly preferred.
