Job description

Come Join Our Team at DC Engineering as a Controls System Integrator!, * Serve as the lead systems integrator on diverse projects, guiding solutions from concept through design, implementation, and commissioning.

  • Design and implement system architectures ensuring compatibility, scalability, and performance.
  • Develop and program advanced PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) systems.
  • Apply strong knowledge of physical and automated systems to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and control functionality.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex system issues, perform I/O testing, and validate overall system performance with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Operate independently with minimal supervision while actively contributing to a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for all system integration activities and deliverables.
  • Coordinate effectively with internal engineering teams, external consultants, vendors, and key business stakeholders to ensure project success., We're a collaborative, people-first company that values professionalism, teamwork, and a positive work environment. Requirements

Do you have experience in Team leadership?, * Proven experience in control systems integration.

  • Strong knowledge of PLC and HMI programming.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities.
  • High-level competency in system troubleshooting and validation.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel, average 10-15% typical, but dependent on specific projects.
  • Ability to work in the field on job sites doing control system start-ups or trouble shooting, * Minimum of 7 years of experience in control system integration
  • Proven ability to execute and deliver projects independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong understanding of physical equipment systems, including pumps, valves, and instrumentation, and how they operate as an integrated solution
  • Deep expertise in PLCs and control system interfaces (HMI/SCADA)
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with strong analytical thinking
  • Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Water/Wastewater systems and/or food processing
  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline or closely related field
