Job description

E-logic is seeking a Developer & Test Engineer / Task Lead to head a development team supporting the IRS Criminal Investigation (CI) Management Information Systems (including CIMIS and AFTRAK). In this role, you will lead software release cycles, oversee operations and maintenance (O&M) activities, conduct system testing, and act as the primary technical liaison to the Government Program Manager. You will also assist in managing data migration requirements as legacy systems transition to a modern Palantir Foundry platform., * Lead team logistics including resource management, milestone tracking, and task delegation.

  • Oversee design, development, O&M, and rapid production deployments using .NET and SQL server environments.
  • Manage requirements throughout the lifecycle using tools like Rational Team Concert, StarTeam, and Rational Quality Manager.
  • Execute comprehensive unit, integration, and performance testing following IRS and Section 508 accessibility compliance standards.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Visual Studio?, * 7+ years of senior-level software development experience.

  • Strong proficiency in C# .NET, ASP.NET, Visual Studio, VB.NET, JavaScript, and IIS.
  • Transact-SQL (T-SQL) and MS SQL Server enterprise tools.
  • Experience with SAP Crystal Reports and Business Objects is highly preferred.
  • Must be able to successfully pass an IRS High-Risk Background Investigation and a 7-panel federal workplace drug screening.
