Job description

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and/or mobile applications.

Build and enhance automation frameworks using industry-standard tools and best practices.

Execute functional, regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end testing.

Develop and maintain API test automation.

Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution.

Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to understand requirements and define test strategies.

Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testingAnalyze test results and provide clear reporting on quality metrics and release readiness.

Continuously improve test coverage, automation efficiency, and QA processes.

Requirements

Candidates must have financial experience. Desired skills would be investment banking and trading platforms understanding. Candidate must be willing to work onsite 3 days a week., Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

8+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on test automation.

Experience developing automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar.

Experience with API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent tools.

Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.

Experience with SQL and database validation.

Experience using version control systems such as Git.

Understanding of Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
