Job description
Brooksource is looking for someone who can provide technical and operational support for our client's internal password management tool and power systems platform supporting both centralized systems and field-based laptop deployments. The position focuses on application support, infrastructure administration, secure authentication (TLS/mTLS), and data troubleshooting in a NERC CIP-regulated environment., * Support PSC Central Core and PSC Local (field laptops)
- Troubleshoot:
- Sync failures
- Authentication/connectivity issues
- Application performance problems
- Analyze logs, services, and data flows to determine root cause
- Support web applications, APIs, and client-side (PWA) components
- Troubleshoot integration and data flow between internal password management tool, power systems platform, and related systems
- Administer Windows Server environments
- Manage services, jobs, monitoring, deployments, and patching
- Support TLS/mTLS and certificate-based authentication
- Manage certificate installation, renewal, and validation
- Support service accounts (including gMSA)
- Troubleshoot authentication and certificate trust issues
- Ensure compliance with NERC CIP and security standards
- Support SQL Server databases and data validation
- Troubleshoot data inconsistencies and sync issues
- Execute test scenarios and support validation activities
- Use PowerShell/Python for automation and troubleshooting
- Work with Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, and business stakeholders
Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Enterprise application support and troubleshooting
- Windows Server administration
- TLS/mTLS and certificate troubleshooting
- Active Directory and service accounts
- SQL Server (queries, data validation)
- Networking fundamentals (IPs, ports, secure communication)
- Testing and validation experience
- PowerShell and/or Python scripting
- Experience in secure or regulated environments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Skills:
- Power systems platforms
- PKI / certificate lifecycle management
- API integration and troubleshooting
- Data integration platforms (e.g., Aspen Data Mart)
- Automation frameworks
- Progressive Web Applications (PWA)
- NERC CIP / utility industry experience
- qTest or similar QA tools
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)
- 5-8+ years relevant experience
