- Troubleshoot software problems across operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux, including applications like Microsoft Office and other productivity tools
- Assist with computer management tasks including setup, configuration, imaging, and maintenance of desktops and laptops
- Support network administration activities such as configuring VPNs (Virtual Private Networks), firewalls, DNS (Domain Name System), TCP/IP protocols, LAN (Local Area Network), and WAN (Wide Area Network) connections
- Manage computer hardware components and peripherals; perform basic repairs or escalate complex issues to senior IT staff
- Use IT support tools like SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager), GPO (Group Policy Objects), Active Directory, BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, Jira, and Cisco Meraki for incident tracking and system management
- Aid in maintaining IT infrastructure stability by monitoring network performance and assisting with server administration tasks on Windows Server environments and Linux systems
Requirements
Do you have experience in macOS?, * Strong technical support skills with the ability to troubleshoot software and hardware issues efficiently
- Knowledge of computer networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, LAN/WAN configurations, VPNs, firewalls, and network security best practices
- Experience with operating systems such as Windows (including Windows Server), macOS, and Linux
- Familiarity with desktop support tools like SCCM, GPOs for policy management, Active Directory for user account management
- Ability to manage computer hardware components and peripherals effectively
- Excellent communication skills to clearly explain technical solutions to non-technical users
- Customer service orientation with a proactive approach to problem-solving and issue resolution
- Basic understanding of mobile devices management and troubleshooting for smartphones and tablets
