Job description
BEPC is seeking a highly motivated CAPPS HR/PY Time & Labor Analyst to join our client's site in Austin, Texas. This role will support the CAPPS Program, including HR/Payroll, Time & Labor, Financials, STARR, Recruit functionality, and related ancillary systems.
The position is responsible for providing senior-level functional and technical support for the PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 Time & Labor module, supporting system configuration, issue resolution, integrations, testing, documentation, training, security, compliance, and ongoing maintenance activities. The role works closely with management, module leads, agencies, and managed services teams while supporting statewide ERP operations and enhancement initiatives., * Perform senior-level consultative services and functional support for the CAPPS Program.
- Support the PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 HR/Payroll Time & Labor (T&L) module.
- Configure and maintain TRCs, Programs, Workgroups, ORCs, Task Profiles, Task Groups, Schedules, Value Lists, Security Groups, and Time & Labor Rules and Rule Programs.
- Support implementation and maintenance of Fluid Timesheet functionality, including system configuration, setup, security and roles, integrations, testing, training and documentation, change management, and ongoing support.
- Utilize and support Application Designer, Integration Broker (REST/SOAP), SQR, BI Publisher, SQL, and PeopleSoft Security.
- Support and troubleshoot Time & Labor batch jobs and failures.
- Utilize PUM (PeopleSoft Update Manager), Change Assistant, Fluid UI, Elasticsearch/Search Framework, and data migration/compare report tools.
- Provide functional support and serve as a point of contact for agencies.
- Create and review Functional Design Documents (FDDs).
- Perform system configuration changes and functional design activities.
- Gather requirements and support break/fix and enhancement initiatives.
- Perform documentation, UAT, regression testing, and incident management.
- Support junior analyst cross-training and agency training.
- Participate in fiscal year-end processes, system expansions and enhancements, Disaster Recovery testing, upgrade testing, Major Incident Management, and SOC-1 audit activities.
- Provide Level 2 Service Desk support.
- Ensure WCAG 2.1 accessibility compliance.
- Follow ITIL principles and organizational processes.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driver's License license?, Do you have experience in WCAG?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * Bachelor's degree in related Fields.
- 8 years of experience creating and managing strategic roadmaps.
- 8 years of experience supporting PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 Time & Labor.
- 8 years of experience performing system configuration changes.
- 8 years of experience utilizing Application Designer, Integration Broker, SQR/SQL, BI Publisher, and SAP Business Objects.
- 8 years of experience supporting and overseeing batch jobs (RMJ).
- 8 years of experience planning and coordinating fiscal year processes.
- 8 years of experience preparing WCAG 2.1-compliant materials.
- 8 years of experience applying security best practices, NIST standards, and multi-tenancy requirements.
- 8 years of experience participating in Disaster Recovery exercises.
- 8 years of experience preparing and presenting executive-level presentations.
- 8 years of experience supporting audits and open records requests.
- 8 years of experience interpreting contractual language and enforcing vendor accountability.
- 5 years of experience serving as a subject matter expert for Fluid Timesheet functionality.
- 5 years of experience working with PUM, Fluid, and Elasticsearch.
- 3 years of knowledge of ITIL, ITSM, and ITAM principles.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience performing functional project management activities supporting CAPPS programs.
- 8 years of experience supporting large Texas state government agency networks (30+ agencies).
- 8 years of knowledge of State of Texas policies.
- 8 years of experience providing Tier 2 Service Desk support with a Tier 3 Managed Services vendor.
- 8 years of experience supporting production activities for statewide financial systems.
- 8 years of experience performing SQL activities to maintain synchronization between CAPPS and SPRS systems.
