Job description

The IT Help Desk is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting IT devices and materials to ensure stable and efficient shipping operations. This role focuses on IT help desk for automation shipping operation, issue resolution, and collaboration with operations teams and vendors. The IT Help Desk supports continuous operation of night shift warehouse operation and reports activities and issues to the APE team IT part manager., IT infra Maintenance & Help Desk

  • Perform maintenance and continuous improvement activities for warehouse IT infra systems
  • Ensure automation equipment and IT equipment operates safely and efficiently during night shift operations
  • Provide general IT/Help Desk support for warehouse PCs, printers, label printers, scanners, networking, and related services.
  • Manage and troubleshoot automation systems and equipment, including errors, warranty tickets, upgrades, monitoring, and vendor support requests.
  • Maintain all network equipment and system and troubleshoot issue.
  • Maintain the WMS system, including printer setup, server connection checks, and network availability monitoring.

Preventive Maintenance for IT infra

  • Execute preventive maintenance tasks according to defined schedules(Daily/ Weekly)
  • Inspect IT Infra equipment, identify potential issues, and take corrective actions

Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution

  • Support and troubleshoot timecard systems, turnstiles, and access control devices.
  • Manage IT consumables, such as toner, cables, and peripherals, and handle IT billing.
  • Maintain IT asset records through IT asset management systems(Maintain X).
  • Support mobile devices, including applications, hardware issues, and ticket creation.
  • Install Microsoft 365 applications, email, VPN, and related user accounts.
  • Perform additional IT-related tasks assigned by managers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to shipping automation systems and IT infra.
  • Respond promptly to IT infra failures to minimize operational downtime
  • Analyze root causes of IT issues and propose countermeasures

Operations & Training Support

  • Communicate and coordinate with warehouse operations teams during night shift
  • Train shipping operators on proper system/device operation and basic troubleshooting
  • Support safe and standardized operation of IT equipment and server system

Vendor & Internal Communication

  • Communicate with automation/IT vendors for troubleshooting, technical support, and maintenance activities
  • Collaborate closely with APE team members and report operational status

Reporting & Documentation

  • Report operation results, maintenance activities, and issues to the APE team IT part manager
  • Record work orders, maintenance actions, and results in the work order management system
  • Maintain accurate action logs and documentation

Requirements

Do you have experience in Productivity software?, Mandatory

  • Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
  • Understanding of Computer system and IT devices
  • Hands-on experience in IT infra maintenance
  • Understanding of network systems
  • Minimum 1 years of IT system experience in an automation or industrial environment
  • Familiarity with MS-Office(Excel, Word)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in warehouse operation
  • Understanding of warehouse automation systems
