Job description
WOWL is seeking a highly organized and analytical Data Operations Specialist to support daily supply chain and logistics operations through data management, exception resolution, process monitoring, and cross-functional coordination.
This role is responsible for maintaining data accuracy across multiple systems, investigating operational discrepancies, monitoring critical workflows, and ensuring timely communication and follow-up with internal teams and external partners. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and enjoys solving problems while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Operations & Exception Management
- Monitor operational workflows, reports, and system-generated tasks to identify issues and exceptions.
- Investigate and help resolve operational discrepancies, data inconsistencies, and process-related issues.
- Track open items through resolution and ensure timely follow-up.
- Analyze recurring issues, identify root causes, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Data Management & System Support
- Maintain accurate shipment, purchase order, booking, invoice, and transportation data across multiple systems.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, updates, and corrections while ensuring data integrity.
- Support EDI transaction monitoring, troubleshooting, and related system processes.
- Validate shipment milestones, transportation events, and system records
Collaboration & Communication
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners, including vendors, carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers, to resolve operational issues.
- Respond to inquiries and provide timely resolutions to operational concerns.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Data-driven problem-solving?, Do you have a Associate's degree?, * Familiarity with international supply chain, logistics or operations environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate issues and identify effective solutions.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow issues through resolution.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including working with large datasets, formulas, filtering, and reporting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with EDI transactions, ERP systems, and operational reporting.
- Experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting and analytics tools is a plus.
- Experience supporting data quality, process improvement, or operational workflows.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year, * 401(k)
