Job description

The Systems Engineer will serve as a key technical resource responsible for the design, implementation, support, and optimization of server, cloud, virtualization, networking, and security environments. This position combines advanced troubleshooting with project-based engineering work and offers the opportunity to work across a diverse technology stack., The Systems Engineer 1 will provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support while helping design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable, and reliable IT infrastructure solutions. This individual will work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure systems operate efficiently while supporting ongoing technology initiatives and business growth., * Design, implement, and support infrastructure solutions across server, cloud, virtualization, networking, and security platforms

  • Provide advanced Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for complex technical issues involving systems, applications, networks, and cloud environments
  • Deploy, administer, and maintain Windows Server environments
  • Manage and support virtualization platforms including VMware, Hyper-V, and cloud-based solutions
  • Administer and support Microsoft 365, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and related technologies
  • Monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities for improvement
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex server, network, connectivity, and infrastructure issues
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, standards, and operating procedures
  • Collaborate with technical and business teams on infrastructure projects and system upgrades
  • Manage project priorities, timelines, and stakeholder expectations
  • Participate in an on-call support rotation and assist with critical issue resolution when needed

Requirements

Do you have experience in Wireless networking?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with strong technical expertise, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment., Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.

Years of Experience:

5+ years of hands-on IT infrastructure, systems engineering, or advanced technical support experience.

Requirements for Position

  • Strong experience administering and supporting Windows Server environments
  • Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, Azure, and AWS
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Microsoft 365, and related Microsoft technologies
  • Experience supporting network infrastructure including routing, switching, wireless technologies, VPNs, and firewalls
  • Familiarity with SAN storage solutions, backup and disaster recovery systems, endpoint security platforms, and VoIP technologies
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure, application, and connectivity issues
  • Strong understanding of IT best practices, security principles, and infrastructure management
  • Experience managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
