Job description
As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will serve as the final gatekeeper for product excellence, ensuring that complex electronic assemblies and printed circuit boards meet rigorous performance benchmarks. Your expertise in defect detection and process auditing will directly impact customer satisfaction by guaranteeing that only high-caliber products leave our facility. Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive visual inspections and First Article Inspections (FAI) to validate that electronic components align with precise engineering specifications.
- Analyze production readiness and machine setups to proactively mitigate potential quality issues before manufacturing begins.
- Identify, document, and categorize defects, utilizing root cause analysis to provide actionable feedback to production teams.
- Maintain meticulous quality records and update internal databases to ensure full traceability of all inspected items.
- Conduct in-process audits and post-pack reviews to uphold conformity standards throughout the entire assembly lifecycle.
- Mentor team members on inspection best practices and quality protocols to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * High School Diploma or GED.
- Proven experience in electronics manufacturing or PCB/PCBA inspection environments.
- Strong proficiency in interpreting complex engineering drawings, schematics, and technical work instructions.
- Demonstrated ability to utilize Microsoft Office and various Windows-based quality management software.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to perform sustained visual examinations., * Prior experience with advanced defect identification and corrective action reporting.
- Solid understanding of electronic component functionality and assembly standards.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve quality-related discrepancies independently.
