Job description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Systems Administrator to manage, maintain, and support our IT infrastructure in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our network, servers, cloud services, business systems, and end-user technologies. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, a proactive mindset, and the ability to support both office and manufacturing operations., · Administer and maintain Windows Server and Linux Server environments, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and file services.
· Manage Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Azure AD, Teams, SharePoint, and related cloud technologies.
· Support virtualization platforms including VMware and/or Hyper-V.
· Monitor and maintain network infrastructure including switches, firewalls, wireless systems, VPNs, and internet connectivity.
· Provide Tier II and Tier III technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and manufacturing systems.
· Monitor and support system backups, disaster recovery procedures, and business continuity.
· Monitor and support cybersecurity controls, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, and access controls.
· Assist with regulatory compliance initiatives including NIST 800-171, DFARS, CMMC, and other security requirements.
· Support ERP systems, manufacturing software, barcode systems, and shop floor technologies.
· Maintain hardware and software inventories, licensing, and IT documentation.
· Coordinate with vendors and service providers for hardware procurement, maintenance, and support services.
· Participate in IT projects including infrastructure upgrades, system migrations, and technology implementations.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Customer service?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, · Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
· 3+ years of Systems Administration experience in a manufacturing environment, aerospace preferred.
· Strong experience with:
o Windows Server Administration
o Active Directory & Group Policy
o Microsoft 365 Administration
o VMware and/or Hyper-V
o TCP/IP Networking, Firewalls, and VPNs
o Endpoint Security & Patch Management
o Backup and Disaster Recovery Solutions
· Experience supporting ERP systems and manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
· Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST 800-171, DFARS, and CMMC preferred.
· Industry certifications such as Microsoft, VMware, CompTIA, or Cisco are a plus.
