Job description
The IT Fusion Center Analyst is responsible for monitoring enterprise IT infrastructure and applications, identifying and responding to incidents, coordinating incident management activities, and ensuring the stability and availability of production systems. The analyst serves as the "eyes and ears" of the IT organization by continuously monitoring alerts, investigating issues, escalating incidents, and communicating status updates to stakeholders., * Monitor enterprise applications, infrastructure, and networks using tools such as Splunk, ServiceNow, SolarWinds, Dynatrace, and other monitoring platforms.
- Identify, investigate, prioritize, and escalate IT incidents.
- Support Incident Management, Change Management, and Problem Management processes.
- Participate in major incident bridge calls and facilitate communication among technical teams.
- Provide clear and concise status updates, issue notifications, and risk communications to leadership and stakeholders.
- Document incidents, actions taken, and resolutions in ServiceNow.
- Perform basic testing to validate system availability and resiliency.
- Create and maintain runbooks, process documentation, and monitoring procedures.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, application, security, and operations teams to improve monitoring capabilities and reduce incident response times.
- Conduct shift handoffs and ensure operational continuity across a 24x7 support environment.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Technical troubleshooting support?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * High School Diploma or GED.
- 1+ year of experience in:
- Network Operations Center (NOC)
- Security Operations Center (SOC)
- IT Operations Center
- Command Center / Monitoring Center
- Production Support Environment
- Experience using ServiceNow.
- Experience using Splunk.
- Experience with enterprise monitoring tools such as:
- SolarWinds
- Dynatrace
- Datadog
- AppDynamics
- Similar monitoring platforms, * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- ITIL Foundation Certification.
- CCNA Certification or equivalent.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with Azure.
- Experience creating Splunk dashboards.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as:
- Python
- PowerShell, * Incident Management
- Change Management
- ITIL Processes
- IT Operations Monitoring
- Log Analysis
- Alert Monitoring
- Troubleshooting
