Job description
- Support the development and delivery of advanced hardware, software, and integrated system solutions.
- Participate in the full systems engineering lifecycle from concept through deployment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams supporting mission-critical defense programs.
Test & Integration Engineering
- Perform hardware and software integration activities.
- Execute validation, verification, and performance testing of complex systems.
- Support troubleshooting and issue resolution during system integration efforts.
Requirements Engineering
- Analyze, document, and manage system requirements.
- Support requirements traceability and verification activities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure requirements align with mission objectives.
Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
- Develop system models, simulations, and engineering analyses.
- Support system architecture development and design trade studies.
- Utilize MBSE tools and methodologies to improve system development processes.
Hardware Systems Engineering
- Support hardware design, integration, testing, and troubleshooting activities.
- Collaborate with software and hardware teams to ensure system-level functionality.
- Assist with technical evaluations and performance assessments.
AI-Enabled Engineering
- Leverage generative AI tools to improve engineering productivity.
- Utilize AI technologies to support requirements analysis, design trade studies, test documentation, and technical reporting.
- Apply enterprise AI tools while adhering to security and data-handling requirements.
- Continuously evaluate and adopt emerging AI-enabled engineering workflows.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Stakeholder management?, Do you have a Master's degree?, Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering, Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or related STEM field with 5+ years of experience OR Master's Degree with 3+ years of experience Schedule: First Shift Clearance Requirement: Secret Clearance
In this role, you will use your technical and interpersonal skills to, * Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, concepts, and methodologies.
- Knowledge of the systems engineering lifecycle and technical standards.
- Experience supporting hardware and software integration efforts.
- Familiarity with requirements management processes and tools.
- Experience with system modeling, simulations, and design analysis.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and support system validation activities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies and engineering concepts.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Preferred:
- Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools.
- Experience supporting defense, aerospace, naval, missile, or weapons systems programs.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with systems integration and verification activities.
- Experience conducting design trade studies and technical evaluations.
- Exposure to AI-assisted engineering workflows and enterprise AI platforms.
- Experience working in classified DoD environments.
