Job description

The IT + Data Manager is a key member of the Medical Alley team, responsible for overseeing and optimizing internal systems, data, and technology to support organizational effectiveness and external engagement. This role connects day-to-day operations with the tools and platforms that enable the organization to function efficiently and deliver value to its partners. This position works closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure systems are well-managed, integrated, and aligned with organizational needs.

The IT + Data Manager partners with the Senior Leadership Team to provide reporting, insights, and recommendations that support informed decision-making.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Systems & Data Management (55%)

  • Oversee and enhance internal technology platforms, including CRM systems, collaboration tools, and integrated applications
  • Manage and improve CRM usage across teams, including training, automation, reporting, and integration
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and data insights to support leadership and departmental needs
  • Integrate internal CRM data with external datasets to improve reporting and visibility· Design and implement tools and automations that improve internal workflows and productivity
  • Own system documentation, digital records, and software administration
  • Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers to ensure effective service delivery

Web & Digital Platform Management (25%)

  • Manage and maintain the organization's website and related digital platforms
  • Design and deliver data-informed content and experiences for external partners
  • Develop digital tools and solutions that support partner engagement and resource sharing
  • Identify and implement improvements to enhance the organization's digital presence and usability
  • Support communications and operational needs through digital tools and process improvements

Operations & Program Support (20%)

  • Support partner-facing experiences related to Medical Alley events, both digitally and in person· Assist with event and program technology, including registration systems, data tracking, and on-site support
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects and organizational initiatives
  • Provide general operational support as part of a collaborative team environment

As part of a cohesive team, you may take on additional tasks that support our mission and shared goals., Must have reliable transportation. Flexibility to work weekends or evenings, as required.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Zoom?, * Technology tools/applications: WordPress, DNS record management, CRM (specifically HubSpot), Swoogo, Google Drive, Zoom, Slack, Teams and Rooms management, NiceBoard, QuickBooks, Strip, Square, YouTube, Wistia

  • Integration Software: Zapier, Microsoft Power Automate, Uncanny or similar
  • Experience with dashboards, reporting, and automated workflows
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Must possess a high level of comfort and social skills to interact with individuals and groups, engaging at all levels of an organization, particularly at the C-suite level.
  • Strong oral and written skills.
  • Self-motivated with bias to action; accountability standards and personal/professional ethics.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Strategic thinker and continuous learner who demonstrates the willingness and ability to disseminate complex information.
  • Programming skills and experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, SQL, Heroku
