Job description
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications that execute under Microsoft Windows 11 IoT Enterprise Operating System, and wirelessly communicate using web services over secure Cellular or Satellite networks.
- Collaborate with design teams to define and implement mobile application features and ensure quality and performance.
- Collaborate with systems engineers and logistics staff to ensure documentation, imaging, configuration and deployment processes are synchronized through the entire lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain Microsoft Deployment Toolkit packages, imaging scripts, Active Directory Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and Windows Drivers for tablet computers.
- Apply application-related STIGs and perform SCAP validation, and vulnerability testing. Prepares documentation to ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements.
- Analyze and resolve communications, software, hardware and application issues impacting mobile device operations.
- Provide application-level technical guidance to ensure standardization, compliance, and reliability, as well as the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree in computer science?, The Mobile Applications Developer creates innovative and intuitive mobile applications to deliver leading-edge solutions. This includes designing, developing, testing and maintaining applications based upon Microsoft Windows computing platforms. Translates hardware and software specifications into system designs, develops deployment tools and automation packages, and ensures compliance with Defense and Industry standards. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, experience using Agile development methodology., * Minimum of five (5) years of experience in hardware/software configuration and mobile applications software development.
- Strong understanding of mobile applications development processes, from the layout/user interface to relational database structures, using programming languages such as C++, C#, JavaScript, and XAML/WPF.
- Ability to use critical thinking skills to understand and translate the needs of the stakeholders into functional mobile applications.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate project progress, risks and results to both team members and stakeholders.
- Strong background in testing, debugging and validating complex hardware/software solutions.
- Bachelor's in engineering or computer science, or equivalent.
- Must work onsite in Coggins Alexandria, Virginia Headquarters., * Languages such as : C++, C#, JavaScript, and XAML/WPF: 5 years (Preferred)
- Active Directory GPO, Windows Drivers for tablet computers: 5 years (Preferred)
- Microsoft mobile application development: 5 years (Required)
