Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer to serve as a technical lead for enterprise ServiceNow development initiatives. This role will provide technical leadership, architecture guidance, and hands-on development across multiple ServiceNow modules and enterprise integrations., * Act as the Team Lead and Senior ServiceNow Developer.

  • Analyze the customer requirements and develop a solution architecture that addresses the technical, management, maximizes automation, and provides operational reporting aspects of the proposal.
  • Lead the development of solution artifacts, including road maps, optimization of operations, architecture and/or block diagrams with a view outside of User Story requirements.
  • Build prototypes and lead technical reviews and discussions based on defined requirements.
  • Provide guidance and technical mentorship to junior and mid-level ServiceNow Developers.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have deep ServiceNow expertise, architecture experience, and strong leadership capabilities., * Bachelor's with 7+ years, Master's with 5+ years, or 11+ years without degree

  • 8+ years of ServiceNow development experience
  • Experience across ITSM, ITOM, HAM, SAM, ITBM, CSM, SecOps, GRC, and HR
  • 5+ years leading technical discussions and architecture reviews
  • 5+ years in system architecture and design
  • 5+ years supporting CMDB, HAM, and SAM data integrity
  • 5+ years of technical leadership experience
  • Experience with AWS Cloud Management Platform
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to obtain and maintain SSA Public Trust clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Web development, including technologies such as X-HTML, CSS3, SQL, XML, Angular and JavaScript, PHP, .NET, or Java
  • Experience with implementing Java scripting to support automation across the various modules in ServiceNow.
  • Experience with REST and SOAP web service protocols
  • Experience with Business Rules, Workflow, Identification Rules, Workspaces and External Portals
  • Knowledge of SAML, Active Directory, or LDAP
  • Specialized ServiceNow Developer Certifications, including ITSM, HAM, SAM, ITBM, CSM, SecOps, GRC, TRM/APM or HR
  • An ITILv4 Foundations certification and a Project Management or Agile certification.
  • Additional ServiceNow CIS certification with preference for the following:
  • Certified System Administrator (baseline)
  • Certified Application Developer (baseline)
  • CIS - Customer Service Management
  • CIS - IT Service Management
  • CIS - Discovery
  • CIS - Service Mapping
  • CIS - Strategic Portfolio Management
  • CIS - Application Portfolio Management
  • CIS - Software Asset Management
  • CIS - Hardware Asset Management
