Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled PLM Teamcenter Solution Architect with expertise in Siemens Teamcenter to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive innovation by integrating cutting-edge system architecture principles with enterprise-level PLM platforms. As a Solution Architect, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable, secure, and efficient solutions that enhance product development workflows and data management processes. Your technical leadership will ensure seamless system integration, robust architecture, and adherence to industry best practices, empowering organizations to accelerate their digital transformation journey., * Lead the architecture and deployment of Siemens Teamcenter PLM solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical standards.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into scalable system designs, and develop comprehensive solution architectures.
  • Design and implement system integrations utilizing RESTful APIs, web services, and other communication protocols to connect Teamcenter with ERP, CAD, CAM, and other enterprise systems.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation including architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and deployment guides.
  • Oversee system administration tasks such as user access management using RBAC (Role-Based Access Control), system security configurations, and performance tuning.
  • Ensure compliance with information security policies by implementing firewalls, VPNs, load balancing strategies, and network security measures.
  • Utilize DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or Azure DevOps for continuous integration and deployment of updates.
  • Implement virtualization technologies like VMware or Kubernetes for scalable environment provisioning and resource optimization.
  • Monitor system health through load balancing, system logging, and performance metrics; troubleshoot issues proactively to minimize downtime.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies such as NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB), cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, and microservices architecture to enhance solution capabilities.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Enterprise software?, * Extensive experience in solution architecture for enterprise PLM systems, specifically Siemens Teamcenter.

  • Strong understanding of service-oriented architecture (SOA), microservices design patterns, and RESTful API development.
  • Proficiency in system administration across Windows, Linux/Unix environments, including shell scripting (Bash), T-SQL, PL/SQL, and database management with Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Deep knowledge of IT infrastructure components such as computer networking (DNS, DHCP), firewalls, VPNs, load balancing techniques, and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS or Azure; familiarity with virtualization tools such as VMware or Kubernetes.
  • Programming skills in JavaScript, Python, Java; scripting expertise in Shell Scripting for automation tasks.
  • Familiarity with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), Agile methodologies, DevOps practices including Git version control systems and Jenkins automation servers.
  • Understanding of information security principles including RBAC policies and network security measures like firewalls and VPNs.
  • Knowledge of APIs development using RESTful standards; experience integrating diverse enterprise systems through APIs is highly desirable.
