Job description
The Integration Support Administrator plays a critical support role on the Benefit Harbor Workday team by ensuring accuracy, integrity, and successful execution of data exchanged between Workday, Benefit Harbor and benefit carriers. Responsibilities include performing daily operational tasks, auditing data, monitoring API performance, and identifying data discrepancies. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, task-driven, and comfortable working in a team environment to maintain the smooth operation of client file integrations. While not client-facing, this position is essential to upholding data quality and ensuring timely issue identification and resolution within our integration processes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Support the Client Services & Deployment Lead and EDI Analyst by performing integration tasks and audits.

Conduct audits comparing:

Workday data reports to API data received by Benefit Harbor.

Carrier file extracts to source data in Workday.

Monitor and review API success/failure logs and exception reports.

Perform daily operational tasks, including:

Confirming scheduled APIs executed as planned.

Verifying delivery of scheduled client files.

Analyze carrier EDI output reports for data discrepancies.

Identify and flag issues for resolution.

Work with internal team to communicate corrective actions to clients.

Document processes and findings to support team transparency and continuous improvement.

Assist in testing and validation of new file builds or updates.

Partner with other team members during new client onboarding or open enrollment activities.

Requirements
Do you have experience in VLOOKUP function?, General Knowledge, Experience, Technical, and Problem-Solving Skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; able to use VLOOKUP, filters, pivot tables, and basic formulas.
- Exposure to data file formats (CSV, TXT, XML) and understanding of data flow between systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with Workday reports or EDI transactions (e.g., 834 files) is a plus but not required.
- Strong analytical skill set and ability to use data to define and resolve issues
Communication Proficiency:
- Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills with the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical personnel; ability to listen, clarify and respond well to questions
- Excellent listening skills and the ability to ask probing questions, understand concerns and overcome objections
Collaborative Abilities:
- Comfortable working in a collaborative environment and taking direction from multiple team members.
- Present solutions in a well-organized and clear fashion
- Must possess strong follow-up and follow through skills with a sense of urgency and attention
Teamwork:
- Experience in working collaboratively as a member of a team
- Strong work ethic and self-starter, able to effectively manage multiple tasks and adapt to change within a fast-paced high intensity business setting
- Must possess integrity, reliability, responsibility, strong organizational skills and high attention to detail., * 1-3 years of experience in a data operations, integration support, or auditing-related role (HRIS, benefits, or Workday experience is a plus).
Benefits & conditions
- This is a full-time exempt position. General hours of operation are Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 am to 5 pm with some flexibility to support clients throughout the continental US. Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required during peak periods.
