Job description
Sumitomo Electric U.S.A. Holdings, Inc. (SEUHO), a Sumitomo Electric Group company, is seeking a full-time IT Technician in our Mt. Prospect, IL, location. This person will provide support on IT-related tasks and is part of the SEUHO-IS helpdesk. This person will report to the IT Supervisor. Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in resolving hardware/software issues for end users
- Work on IT projects as directed by management
- Assist in technical upgrading and maintaining desktop systems
- Assist management in creating training materials pertaining to computer troubleshooting and usage
- Install hardware (computers, monitors, servers, UPS, routers, switches, etc.)
- Manage all equipment and perform periodic inventories as required
- Troubleshoot mobile devices, configure new devices
- Install and configure computer systems, phones, and applications within the company
Requirements
Do you have experience in User training (technical support)?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask
- Effectively present information and respond to questions from users and business partners
- Organizational and time management skills sufficient to independently establish priorities and coordinate and complete competing projects within set timeframes
- Work well independently as well as part of a team
