Job description

We are seeking a Systems Analyst who will serve as the functional expert for Manhattan Active WMS (MAWM). You will bridge operational needs and system capabilities-handling solution design, end-to-end configuration, data setup, testing, and operational support across EXOL's North American retail, wholesale, eCommerce, and 3PL fulfillment network.

What we do

Exol* is pioneering warehousing-as-a-service, offering outsourced warehousing operations, and specializing in automated warehousing solutions. Our focus is on the efficient movement of goods in cases and pallets across all sectors, such as wholesale, retail, and general merchandising.

  • Exol is an independently managed joint venture between Symbotic and Softbank.

What you'll do

Solution Delivery & WMS Configuration

  • Translate business requirements and operational workflows into Manhattan Active WMS configurations.
  • Perform master data setup (customer, facility, inventory, locations) and manage environment configuration migrations.
  • Configure end-to-end warehouse processes from receiving through shipping according to EXOL standards.

Systems Integration & Testing

  • Support integrations between the WMS and external systems (ERP, TMS, automation, APIs, EDI) and troubleshoot data flows.
  • Develop and execute SIT/UAT scenarios, document test results, and manage defect resolutions.
  • Lead cutover planning, deployment execution, and post-production hypercare/stabilization.

Operations & Continuous Improvement

  • Perform root-cause analysis on system issues and drive production incident resolution.
  • Identify system opportunities to improve warehouse processes, inventory accuracy, and operational productivity.
  • Maintain comprehensive functional designs, SOPs, test scripts, and training materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, IT, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience configuring, deploying, and supporting Manhattan Active WMS.
  • Deep understanding of warehouse workflows (Receiving, Putaway, Inventory/Wave Management, Picking, Packing, Shipping, Returns).
  • Familiarity with APIs, EDI, and enterprise systems; strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across operational, technical, automation, and customer-facing teams.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience implementing MAWM in highly automated, multi-site, or multi-client 3PL environments.
  • Experience integrating WMS with ERP, TMS, or Material Handling Systems (MHS/WES).
  • Background participating in fast-paced facility startups and operational go-lives.

Our environment

  • Up to 25% travel may be required. Employees must have a valid driver's license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations.
  • The employee is responsible for owning a credit card and managing expenses personally to be reimbursed on a bi-weekly basis.
