Job description

Serves as a technical expert for Workday HCM, including all HCM modules/functionality, integrations, security and reports.

Serves on the Platform Team, working with the Workday Operations Director and other team members as a cohesive team.

Participates in local Workday user group(s), stays abreast of best practices/Workday trends/practices in other companies, and achieves/maintains Workday Certifications applicable to the role
Requirements
Do you have experience in XML?, * Effective understanding of HR operations and payroll
- Experience in employee data management
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with PC Windows-based software
- Knowledge of computer programming, logic, systems analytic and mathematical skills
- Proficiency in Workday HCM report writing (Workday Report Writer and Calculated Fields)
- Experience with designing and implementing ETL processes and the use of ETL tools
- Ability to work and coordinate with third parties on data-related inquiries
- Strong experience with interface, networking, and data warehousing technologies, as well as design, relational database technologies, and performance tuning
- Experience with Web Services and APIs (WSDL, SOAP, REST and WS standards)
- Strong technical experience with XML and Java
- Knowledge of Workday implementation tools (Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Studio, Workday Report Writer, and iLoad)
- Understand basic database architecture, tables, functional interactions, and recognize and understand impacts to downstream systems
