Job description

The Data Analyst collects, analyzes, interprets, and reports healthcare and operational data to support clinical, financial, and strategic decision-making. The role works closely with providers, clinic managers, billing staff, and leadership to identify trends, improve patient outcomes, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure compliance with federal healthcare reporting requirements.   • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Analyze patient population health trends and utilization data.
  • Monitor quality measures, including preventive care and chronic disease management metrics.
  • Support UDS (Uniform Data System) and other regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports.
  • Identify opportunities to improve patient care, productivity, and operational efficiency.
  • Assist leadership with strategic planning through data-driven recommendations.
  • Collaborate with billing and finance teams to analyze revenue cycle performance.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Create visualizations and presentations for management and board meetings.

  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in healthcare.
  • Strong knowledge of:

  • Ability to interpret complex datasets and present findings clearly.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with healthcare EHR systems such as eClinicalWorks, NextGen, Epic, or similar.
  • Experience working in a clinic, hospital, or FQHC environment.
  • Knowledge of healthcare quality measures and population health analytics.
  • Certification in data analytics or business intelligence.
